Billy Crystal and Ben Schwartz (Parks and Recreation) star in this charming hit from the Tribeca and San Francisco Jewish Film Festivals. Scott (Schwartz) is a struggling stand-up comedian who moves back into his family home in Long Island to re-assess his life choices. Wracked with self-doubt, he connects with Marty, a local dermatologist and barfly, whose charismatic personality masks deep regrets of his own. Discovering they are kindred spirits, each helps the other find healing. In this touching dramedy, Crystal “tamps down the manic energy of his Oscar hosting to turn in a controlled, layered performance as a shattered man trying in vain to put the pieces of his life together, largely through alcohol and karaoke.” (San Francisco Jewish Film Festival)
