Friends of Yiddish proudly presents Toronto’s film maven, Shlomo Schwartzberg, who introduces and comments on this 90 minute classic romantic comedy tale about an unlucky drifter who wanders from "shtetl to shtetl" in his impossible dream-quest for happiness when he falls in love with a shoemaker's daughter in a small Galician town.
