A Temple Sinai Program: A Liberation75 Feature Presentation
How to Speak to Your Children (and Grandchildren) About the Holocaust with our Director of Congregational Learning, Carrie Swartz, Leora Schaefer and Dr. Amy Platt

Thursday, May 6 at 3.00 p.m.

Understanding how and when to address sensitive issues with your child can be a challenge. This session will provide an opportunity to hear from experts in Holocaust education about age-appropriate ways to talk with young people about the Holocaust. Leora will share methods of assessing when a child is prepared to discuss the Holocaust (and its related themes of discrimination, hate, racism, and genocide) and provide frameworks for inspiring young people to stand up to hatred and bigotry. This program will also offer recommendations for books to support conversations about the Holocaust with children.

Register online at www.templesinai.net, call the Temple office at 416-487-4161 or email programs@templesinai.net.
