Friends of the Simon Wiesenthal Center for Holocaust Studies presents its 5th Annual National Policy Conference on Holocaust Education -- Digital Technology and Cutting-Edge Applications. The keynote speaker will be Jeannie Opdyke Smith, the daughter of Irene Gut Opdyke, a Polish Catholic Righteous Gentile who risked her life at the age of 19 to rescue Jews during the Holocaust. The conference also includes panel discussions on the newest digital formats and best practices of age-appropriate Holocaust pedagogy from leading educators across Canada and the United States.
