What makes a song Jewish? Beyond the obvious liturgical melodies sung in synagogue, it seems appropriate to categorize popular mainstream tunes like Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah and Naomi Shemer's Yerushalayim Shel Zahav as Jewish music, too. But what about Rock and Roll All Nite by Jewish glam-rockers, Kiss? Or White Christmas by Irving Berlin?

Join us for Praylist: What is Jewish Music? with Cantor Cheryl Wunch as we explore what makes music Jewish or just Jew-ish.
