Jewish Education is fundamental to the future vibrancy and vitality of our community. UJA Federation of Greater Toronto is working diligently, alongside our partners, to ensure that every child has the opportunity for a Jewish Education. UJA Federation’s Tuition Assistance Program was created to reduce tuition fees for eligible families in order to make it easier for them to provide their children with Jewish Education. Every year, the Tuition Assistance Program provides $10 million to families across the Greater Toronto Area and York Region. This funding is made possible through valued donations made by thousands of donors to UJA’s annual campaign.
The Tuition Assitance Program is a granting program intended to reduce the cost of tuition for families that have children enrolled in Jewish Day School.
Applications for assistance are not evaluated by UJA Federation. They are submitted directly to and reviewed by UJA Federation’s partner school selected during the application process. Acceptance into the Tuition Assistance program is the sole decision of the partnering school. See the chart below to view the likelihood of receiving tuition assistance:
