Phil Granovsky Award for Campaign Excellence
The Phil Granovsky Award for Campaign Excellence, in memory of Phil Granovsky z”l, recognizes an individual who is a distinguished participant in UJA campaigning. When it came to the welfare of world Jewry, few were more committed than Phil, who saw Israel and the Diaspora as an extension of his family. Phil’s selfless legacy continues to help countless community members every year.
Zack Belzberg
Zack Belzberg is the CEO of Dodds Garage Door Systems, a business he acquired in 2017 through his investment firm, Northmont Inc. Before acquiring Dodds, Zack held investment roles at Alignvest Management Corporation, MDC Partners, and Credit Suisse. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BCom from McGill University, graduating with distinction from both institutions.
Zack is also deeply committed to community and non-profit work. He has founded several peer-to-peer fundraising initiatives, including the Joel Schwartz Memorial Hockey Tournament, Serving for Sinai Volleyball Tournament, Back to Brunch for Sinai, and the Parlour Initiative for UJA, which have collectively raised over $2 million to date. He serves on the Sinai Health Foundation Board of Directors.
Zack lives in Toronto with his wife and their three children.
